Between heats there is no time to study a chart. Slicks opens on the numbers that decide what to change next, worked out from the file on the device itself, with no signal needed.

Sectors
Every lap split into sectors against the session’s best in each, and the theoretical best they add up to.

The corners that cost the most against your fastest lap, ranked, with the seconds, the speed and the metres behind each.
Engine
Peak RPM, exhaust and water temperatures against the window your tuner gave you, spelled out in words as well as colour.
The lap fills in sector by sector as it is driven, at the pace of the real one.

Pick a reference lap and another, and Slicks lays their speed traces over each other, draws the time gained or lost along the way, and walks a cursor round the map as you scrub.

The gap opens where the other lap runs slower and holds once it is back on the pace, which is what a delta trace tells you at a glance: where, and how much.

Every session draws its laps over the real track on a map. Colour the line by speed, by a reading the GPS works out on its own, or by any channel the logger recorded, and turn the dial to read one lap at a time.

One library, every device.

Import on the Mac, read on the phone in the paddock, compare on the iPad at home. Sessions sync through your account, and everything above the lap list works with no signal at all.

Share a session by link when you want a coach to see it, and revoke the link when you do not. The file itself never leaves your account.

Bring your own files.

Slicks reads the XRK and XRZ files AiM loggers write, parsed on the device with no AiM software in between. Drop them on the Mac app, open them from Files on iPad and iPhone, or AirDrop them straight from the laptop that pulled them off the logger.

Each session lands with its track, driver and date read from the file, and asks what changed on the kart before the numbers get a chance to bias you.

Questions

Which files does Slicks read?
The XRK and XRZ files AiM loggers record, MyChron included. Slicks parses them on the device itself; it needs no AiM software and no internet connection to open one.
How does a file get from the logger into Slicks?
Any way a file reaches your device: AirDrop, the Files app, a shared folder, or dragging it onto the Mac app. Getting the file off the logger in the first place still happens with AiM’s own tools.
Does it replace RaceStudio?
For reading a session, yes: laps, sectors, time lost by corner, engine peaks, track maps and two-lap comparison. Configuring the logger itself stays with AiM’s software.
Which devices does it run on?
iPhone, iPad and Mac, as one app. Sessions sync between your devices, and everything you see above the lap list works offline.
Who can see my data?
You. Sessions are private to your account unless you share one by link, and a link can be revoked at any time. The original file is never reachable through a link.
