Slicks exists to show you your own lap data. This page says what the app and this website keep, where it lives, and how to make it go away.

What the app stores

The telemetry files you import (XRK and XRZ), the laps, sectors and summaries the app computes from them, and anything you type in: notes, the setup, track and driver names. Your account holds the name and e-mail address your sign-in provider gives us.

Where it lives

On your devices, and on our servers so that your sessions reach every device you sign in on. Files are kept in Cloudflare R2 and the rest in a Neon Postgres database, both under your account and nobody else’s. Sign-in is handled by Clerk, with Apple or Google as the provider; we never see a password.

Who can see it

You. A session is private unless you share it by link, and a link shows that one session’s summary to whoever has it until you revoke it. The original file is never reachable through a link.

What we do not do

Neither the app nor this website carries advertising or third-party analytics, and this website sets no cookies. We do not sell or hand over your data, and we do not use it to train anything.

Deleting

Delete a session in the app and it is removed from our servers on the next sync. To delete your account and everything in it, write to hello@useslicks.com from the address on the account.
